The recent shortage of baby formula has sent mothers scrambling to make sure their infants are fed. One mom in Lucedale has even been generous with her own breastmilk, offering it to other moms who can’t produce enough milk on their own.
Brandy McGill of WDAM in Hattiesburg reported on the shortage in the Pine Belt area, and spoke with Dr. Susan McGee, a pediatrician who cares for patients in Family Health Center’s Waynesboro clinic.
